DEVELOPING CREATIVITY
Established in 2024, Crag Pit Studios is a non-profit family run space. We host small groups of artists, theatre makers, musicians and writers for weeklong residencies in our converted barn. We are a welcoming and open space looking for unique projects and people to join our ever growing community of creative people.
We also host large groups for creative workshops and residencies. Across the barn and the main house we have 10 private bedrooms available, a big kitchen with communal spaces and have (in a pinch) slept 22 people. If you would like to be the first to know about opportunities then subscribe here

About

The house overlooks a peaceful wildlife sanctuary, with distant sea views and rambling walks in every direction. Explore beaches, woods, marshland or walk down the old railway line to the village.

There are a total of ten bedrooms, with two ensuite master bedrooms, three double rooms, two twins and three singles. Each room has its own study area with views of the garden.

We are equipped to host theatre, arts, writing, music, martial arts, yoga and metal work. Crag Pit is an inclusive space, where we are keen for unique ideas and passionate people to flourish.

You will be staying in our family home full of generations of odd collections and bespoke charm. Enjoy our libraries, reading nooks, work stations, warm kitchens and living rooms in this rambling old country home.
The house has easy onsite parking and a local bus route to the train station at Saxmundham
